Instant BG Remover
Remove a background from a logo or signature
For flat graphics, the best source is usually the original transparent or vector file.
Find the cleanest source
Ask for the SVG, PDF or transparent PNG master if one exists. A screenshot often introduces antialiasing against a white rectangle, while JPEG adds blocks around letters. For a signature, capture your own mark on evenly lit, unruled paper and keep the image private.
Remove plain paper or color
- Open the logo tool or signature tool.
- Upload a flat image. The editor first estimates a uniform background; if that cannot be established, it may use the general photo workflow.
- Inspect the smallest letters, enclosed spaces and fine strokes against both dark and light backgrounds. Export PNG.
Preserve what the mark means
Do not use background cleanup to alter another party's trademark, claim ownership, or make a signature appear authorized. An image of handwriting is not a verified electronic signing system. If a mark's edges remain dirty, return to the vector or rescan instead of repeatedly erasing thin lines.
Before delivering a logo, place the exported PNG on both white and dark surfaces and compare it to the original artwork. Thin anti-aliased edges can carry a white outline that only appears on dark colors. Also check that holes inside letters remain transparent; if they are filled, an original vector is usually the safer source. Save the master separately from any compressed delivery copy.
